What ARGUS is

ARGUS is a private, subscription-based commercial sales-research tool operated by PureTensor, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("PureTensor," "we," "us"). PureTensor, Inc. is a United States company, separate from PureTensor Limited in the United Kingdom. ARGUS helps business subscribers identify and research companies that may be good prospects for hardware and infrastructure sales. It is a commercial product offered for ordinary business-development purposes only.

No government affiliation

ARGUS is a private commercial product operated by a private company. PureTensor, Inc. and ARGUS are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated on behalf of any government, military, intelligence, or law-enforcement agency, in the United States or any other country. The name "ARGUS," any prior styling, and the product's branding are commercial in nature and do not indicate or imply any governmental, official, or security-service connection. Nothing in ARGUS should be read as an official record, a security-clearance product, or government-sourced intelligence.

Public sources only

The company profiles in ARGUS are compiled from publicly available information, such as public funding announcements, company websites, public job postings, and similar public sources. Where we link to a source, that link is provided so you can review the underlying material yourself. We do not perform private investigations, and we do not collect or sell confidential, non-public, or background-check information about individuals.

Information about companies, not consumers

ARGUS profiles companies as potential business customers. Where an individual (such as a founder or executive) is named, that name appears only as an incidental, publicly reported business fact about the company. ARGUS does not assemble individual background reports and does not evaluate any person's character, creditworthiness, or personal circumstances.

Not a consumer report; not a consumer reporting agency

ARGUS is not a "consumer report" and PureTensor is not a "consumer reporting agency" as those terms are defined in the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or any similar state law. You may not use ARGUS, in whole or in part, for any FCRA purpose or for any decision about any individual's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, tenancy, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. ARGUS is provided solely for commercial business-to-business research and sales-prospecting.

ARGUS and all information in it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. Public sources can be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate, and the funding figures, quotes, and inferred signals shown are point-in-time snapshots that may change. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any information in ARGUS, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all such warranties.

No reliance; verify independently

You are responsible for independently verifying any information in ARGUS before relying on it or acting on it, including by reviewing the linked sources and conducting your own due diligence. Any reliance you place on ARGUS is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PureTensor is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, ARGUS or any information in it.

If you represent a company featured in ARGUS, or are an individual named in a profile, and believe a profile is inaccurate, out of date, or should be removed, contact us at ops@puretensor.ai and we will review the request.
