Terms of Service — ARGUS

Last updated: 2026-06-25

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ARGUS, a controlled-access sales-research portal operated by PureTensor, Inc. ("PureTensor," "we," "us"), a Delaware corporation. PureTensor, Inc. is a United States company and is distinct from PureTensor Limited, a separate company organized in the United Kingdom. By accessing ARGUS with an access code or by subscribing, you ("you," "Subscriber") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ARGUS.

1. What ARGUS is

ARGUS is a private, commercial business-research tool. It presents source-linked profiles of companies (such as recently funded AI and compute operators) that may be relevant sales prospects, including items like company name, headquarters, publicly announced funding, quotations from a company's own public job postings, inferred infrastructure signals, and a short commercial note. ARGUS is operated by PureTensor, a private company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government, military, intelligence, or law-enforcement agency, and it is not an intelligence, investigative, or background-screening service.

2. Sources and accuracy; provided "AS IS"

The information in ARGUS is compiled from publicly available third-party sources that we do not control and cannot independently guarantee. ARGUS is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it for any business decision or outreach.

3. Not a consumer report

ARGUS is intended for business-to-business sales-research and informational purposes only. It is not a "consumer report" and we are not a "consumer reporting agency" under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) or any similar law. You may not use ARGUS, in whole or in part, for any purpose regulated by the FCRA or any equivalent law — including decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing, or tenant screening.

4. Subscription, billing, and auto-renewal

ARGUS is offered on a monthly subscription of $99 per month (or the price shown at sign-up), billed through our payment processor, Stripe. PureTensor, Inc. is the merchant of record for your subscription. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS EACH MONTH AT THE THEN-CURRENT PRICE, AND YOUR PAYMENT METHOD WILL BE CHARGED EACH MONTH, UNTIL YOU CANCEL. We may change pricing on renewal with advance notice by email or on the site.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time by emailing ops@puretensor.ai (or using any self-service cancellation option we provide). Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid month; you keep access through that period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not provide partial-month or pro-rated refunds.

6. Your access and license

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access ARGUS and use its content solely for your own internal sales-research activities. Each access code is for a single user. You may not share, resell, sublicense, republish, redistribute, or publicly post ARGUS content; scrape, bulk-export, or systematically copy it; or share your access credentials with anyone else.

7. Acceptable use

Your use of ARGUS is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if your subscription is unpaid.

8. Intellectual property

ARGUS, including its compilation, organization, layout, and original commentary, is owned by PureTensor and protected by intellectual-property laws. The underlying facts — such as funding announcements, company locations, and excerpts quoted from companies' own public job postings — are drawn from publicly available sources, are linked to those sources where possible, and remain the property of their respective owners. Company names and trademarks referenced are the property of their respective owners; reference to them is for identification only and does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those companies.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PureTensor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost business, or lost data, arising out of or relating to ARGUS or these Terms. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to ARGUS or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold PureTensor harmless from claims arising out of your use of ARGUS in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

13. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and PureTensor regarding ARGUS and supersede any prior understandings.
